SUMMARY:Trauma Sensitive Yoga
DESCRIPTION:The Faulk Center for Counseling’s Wellness Program is pleased to offer once a month, in person Trauma–sensitive Vinyasa yoga classes. Classes are led by a certified instructor and are currently provided at no cost. The class begins with a focus on grounding and connecting with the present moment. Participants engage in fluid movements that honor their bodies and personal boundaries, complemented by moments of deep relaxation and guided meditation. This practice of self-inquiry and self-care creates a safe space for individuals to explore their inner landscape and foster resilience. As the class concludes, participants emerge feeling refreshed and empowered, ready to navigate their healing journey with newfound strength. All levels of yoga participants are welcome. Prior experience is not required to participate.\n
