Dr. Esposito, PhD, ARNP is an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) in the field of Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing who joined Futures in 2015. She began her career in Nursing in 1983, going on to specialize by completing a graduate degree (MSN) in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing from Adelphi University in 1996 as well as a PhD in Nursing from Barry University in 2013.
Dr. Esposito employs a holistic approach with a focus on the body, mind and spirit of her patients. She has worked in a number of settings in both inpatient and outpatient programs, with individuals and families across the lifespan dealing with addiction and other mental health disorders. Dr. Esposito has instructed nursing students in the area of Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing since 1996, at Palm Beach State College, Palm Beach Atlantic University, and Nova Southeastern University. Dr. Esposito serves as a board member of the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) of Palm Beach County, as well as for the Florida Chapter of the APNA, where she seeks to promote Mental Health advocacy in her role as an educator and clinician. At Futures, she provides psychiatric evaluations with diagnosis and treatment of co-occurring disorders such as depression, trauma, anxiety or other mental health problems. Identifying and treating these conditions is an essential component of treatment in order to promote the individual’s recovery.
