Donnette was born in Guam and moved around during her younger years and after her father retired from the Navy they moved to the sunshine state calling Florida home. Tragically, her family was directly impacted by drugs and alcohol soon after settling in. After years of struggling herself, she went back to school later in her life where she received her Bachelor’s from Indian River State College for Human Services graduating Magna Cum Laude as well as becoming a Certified Life Coach. After battling her own struggles, she is now giving back and helping others while utilizing her own experience and education in the process. Donnette started as an RA where she moved to work with one of our specialized programs, RISE, and is now a Lead RA for the Core Program (remove this) and add: then became a Lead RA, and is now working with the Clinical Department. She is also a Certified Trainer for SAMA, Satori Alternatives to Managing Aggression, where she helps ensure a safe, compassionate, and respectful environment for our staff and clients by training staff.
Married with 3 boys, Donnette enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and enjoying life’s little moments. Providing support and encouragement to others is her passion as she continues to grow within the company and her own life proving it does not matter what obstacles life throws at you, you keep getting up and fighting for what you want. Having a diverse background Donnette continues to help empower others by her positivity and genuine care for others in this field and in life.
