Jennifer brings almost two decades of clinical experience and expertise in the field of mental health and substance use disorder treatment to Orenda. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts, and her Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of San Francisco, California with a specialty in Family Systems. Jennifer began her clinical career in the Bay Area, working in substance abuse and mental health treatment centers as well as in private practice, and she holds Marriage and Family Therapist licenses in both Florida and Illinois, her home state. Her career has spanned residential, outpatient, admissions, and community outreach settings, giving her a broad understanding of the treatment continuum. Jennifer is passionate about working with individuals, couples, and families whose lives have been upended by addiction or mental illness. She brings understanding and dedication to her work, utilizing evidence-based and trauma-informed modalities while taking care to individualize each client’s treatment and support their path toward freedom from substances to create a healthy, enjoyable, and productive life.
