Elizabeth Potts earned her BA in Liberal Arts from the University of Connecticut and completed post-graduate studies in education and marketing. For 15 years, she has worked with leading drug and alcohol treatment centers, addiction physicians, non-profit substance abuse programs, mental health organizations, insurance providers and numerous behavioral health management groups with the singular focus of facilitating quality care.
Years of progressive experience in program development and administrative oversight have created a vast understanding of clinical and medical programming, logistics, market analysis and revenue cycle management in an ever-changing marketplace.
Elizabeth’s years of relationship building and experience beyond her direct responsibilities to Futures, she has dedicated herself to the advocacy of addiction and mental health policy. At the state level, she has represented the interests of behavioral healthcare providers by serving on the Board of the Florida Behavioral Health Association, and acting as Chair of their Business of Behavioral Health Division. To make a difference in the local community, Ms. Potts graciously invests her time as an Advisory Board Member of the Comprehensive Alcoholism Rehabilitation Programs organization and as a member of the Executive Board of Wayside House.
"Efforts and courage are not enough without purpose and direction."
