Chef Joe Favata oversees the culinary preparation and execution of all meals and snacks for Futures. Since inception, Joe displays tremendous pride in managing the professional kitchen and staff at Futures to meet the dietary needs and cuisine standards of all guests. His approach for Futures embodies that of any restaurateur, to provide a variety of flavorful, healthy options by using high quality, fresh ingredients to satisfy diverse palates. Joe’s culinary team is integrated into the coordinated care team to ensure the avoidance of food allergies, but also to explore the use of certain ingredients to naturally offset withdrawal symptoms or inflammation.
Staying true to his Brooklyn roots, Joe’s favorite meals (to consume) are staples of his Italian heritage – pizza & pasta. Beyond menu planning, Chef enjoys the spoils of the salt life – the beach, deep sea fishing, golf, and tending to his own garden.
