He completed clinical training in all levels of addiction treatment services, psychoanalysis, psychiatric, and therapeutic communities. In addition, Mark has worked both in non-profit and for-profit organizations.
Mark is skilled in various forms of therapeutic approaches yet believes the predominant factors for quality treatment are establishing rapport, safety, understanding his patients needs and assisting them in building insight to create lasting change in their lives. Mark believes in focusing on patient strengths and building upon those strengths, which is a lost art in therapy today.
Some of his therapeutic expertise includes EMDR, Object Relation, Gestalt, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Biblical Counseling. As a therapist, Mark believes in practicing self-care habits he teaches his patients. In his personal time, he enjoys playing golf, western horse riding, gym time and spending time with his family.
