Moira Howard, LMHC, CAP

Moira Howard received her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree at Palm Beach Atlantic University in Florida. While completing her education, she obtained experience working in the mental health field. While working as a therapist and as a director at various treatment facilities in Palm Beach County, she was able to develop her clinical skills and interests. Moira has trained in various styles of therapy including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Psychodrama. Moira has been working in the mental health field since 2007 and continues to tailor her style to fit the needs of each individual she works with, specializing in trauma, addictions, anxiety, and depression. Moira also assists clients in developing coping skills which include increasing their capacity for emotional regulation and self-acceptance.
