Sarah is a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern in the state of Florida. She graduated from Mercer University in 2022 with a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Sarah has previously worked with addiction and mental health in detox, residential, PHP, and IOP levels of care.
She has experience working with individuals, groups, and families. Sarah looks through a systemic and holistic lens when working clinically. She is additionally trained in EMDR, Trauma-Sensitive Mindfulness, and Reiki.
Sarah’s therapeutic approaches include a strengths-based approach, motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, and mindfulness-based cognitive therapy. Sarah specializes in working with addiction, trauma, anxiety, grief, spirituality, life transitions and enhancing relationship with self.
When Sarah is not at work, she enjoys going to the beach, learning to surf, biking, yoga, reading to learn, practicing self-care, spending time with her family and going for walks in nature.
