Takeya "Keya" Davis earned her bachelor's degree in psychology and began her career in the legal field before transitioning to a lengthy role with the Department of Children & Family Services, where she supported children, adolescents, and adults in promoting resiliency and self-sufficiency. Keya later relocated to Florida, continuing her career by working with individuals struggling with substance use, mental health challenges, and co-occurring disorders. She is passionate about providing emotional support to individuals in need of guidance, helping them address stressors, connect with resources, advocate for services, and providing coordination of continued care to achieve lasting change. Keya pursued her career by obtaining a Certified Addiction Professional (CAP) certification with the Florida Certification Board to expand her knowledge and skills, ensuring she remains current and relevant in the evolving field of behavioral health.
