Cecile is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida. She graduated from Louisiana Tech University with a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology and Spanish. After several years of working in the education field and learning about improving mental health in the school setting, Cecile graduated from Nova Southeastern University with a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
Cecile completed her master’s-level internship in a learning community for neurodivergent children and adolescents with co-occurring mental health disorders, conducting both group and individual therapy. She also has recent experience working in private practice with individuals with a variety of mental health disorders and addictions. Her therapeutic approaches include motivational interviewing, cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness-based cognitive therapy, and person-centered. Her specialties include anxiety, life transitions, family conflict, and relationship issues.
