Kate Armstrong has over 10 years of experience in substance abuse and mental health treatment, with a focus in assessments, research, and quality assurance. An EMDR-trained counselor, she received Bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and English from the University of Florida before completing her Master’s in Mental Health Counseling at Florida Atlantic University. She has contributed to various research studies on addiction, spirituality, and personality pathology and is passionate about increasing the understanding of addiction and mental health and improving treatment efficacy. Kate believes in integrative treatment and measurement-based care, and she specializes in utilizing evidence-based outcomes measures to guide performance improvement and enhance patient care.
