Communications & Coordination

Communication is crucial in providing high-quality care. Futures’ clinicians, case managers, and other team members regularly communicate with patient care providers and other approved service providers to coordinate care and improve outcomes.

Futures supports appropriate collaboration to achieve improved patient outcomes. We work with doctors, family members, human resource professionals, licensing boards, interventionists, and consultants to provide and receive relevant, helpful information.

Communication is also important to our patients. Many of our patients are high-functioning adults with active careers, families, and other normal personal responsibilities. While we advocate the benefits of unplugging from the often intense and stress-inducing email, telephone, and internet communications of everyday life during treatment we also understand the need to conduct appropriate business. Patients have access to business offices so that they may conduct business when clinically appropriate. Case managers help patients access communication when necessary.
